On Line Training Courses
Calendar January
2010 - December 2010
The Calendar of On Line Courses sets out a series of On Line Sessions covering a wide range of Products and People Management Issues we have
planned from January 2010 to December 2010. This year we have moved to a predominantly On Line Programme of Courses in direct response to
Customer requests. Saving time and cost by not having to travel to Training Venues, while learning from the convenience your own desktop PC, has benefits all round - and of course is playing our part in saving the planet! All On Line Scheduled Courses are 1 and 1/2 hours in length. Each On Line Course is limited to 3 delegates as a maximum.
These are Tutor Led and use Citrix GotoMeeting™. The On Line Course is fully interactive with you, your Staff and an SDMS Trainer looking at the same screen, talking on the phone as you do so, asking questions and being given answers as if you were in the same room! The only difference is that you can’t see each other (unless you also connect with video cam).

All the Courses listed in the Training Calendar are available to Customers on their own site if a preferred option. For a quotation for On-Site Training please call SDMS Sales and Business Development. Training facilities to be provided by the Customer. SDMS supplies Computers and following a discussion on your precise needs prepares a customised Training Agenda specially for you.

SDMS Software On Line Training Connection Guide
Connecting to the Online Training Session via Citrix GotoMeeting™
SDMS Online Training Sessions use Citrix GoToMeeting™ one of the world’s leading Technology Companies. You will need access to the Internet in order to access the GotoMeeting™ website which supports a secure PC-to-PC connection so we can share the PC display of the Trainer. Please phone SDMS Sales and Business Development on 01952-200911 and they will put you in touch with the designated Trainer. He or she will talk you through the following Guide.
Step 1 Telephone SDMS Ltd on (01952) 200911
Step 2 Go to http://joingotomeeting.com website

Step 3 Type in the Meeting ID which will be given to you by SDMS and click the Continue Button under the Meeting ID field.

Step 4 You may be asked to confirm that the download can take place. Click Yes to confirm
Step 5 It will start downloading the GoToMeeting software
Step 6 Once the software is downloaded, it will attempt to connect to the meeting. This may take a few minutes.

Step 7 Enter your name and email address.

Step 8 The Online Training Session will now begin!

During the session, the control of the keyboard and mouse can be handed between the Trainer and the Delegates to help clarify points or questions. Chat is also available. Thus, unlike traditional
e-Learning platforms, SDMS Online Training is fully interactive, with you and an SDMS Trainer looking at the same screen, talking on the phone as you do so, asking questions and being given answers as you learn - focused and highly productive sessions with your own personal Trainer.
